Q. How does this program work?

A. It's easy! First we will email the appropriate listing contract and MLS submission paperwork to you. The MLS submission form is text-writable and should be filled out on your computer and emailed to
AshevilleRealtor@earthlink.net. The entire contract and signed last page of the submission paperwork needs to be faxed to 1-866-468-1686.

Your pictures must be in .jpg format and limited to 400k. The pictures, brief description and directions are emailed to us.
 

Submit your payment after you choose the services you desire. If you're not sure you want an additional service, you can add it later.

Your home will be in the MLS within 8 business hours and a link will be emailed so that you can view the content of your listing.

Q. What is the Multiple Listing Service? 

A.The Multiple Listing Service (MLS) is the multiple listing service that real estate agents use to find homes for sale for their buyers and use to list their sellers homes..


Q. What is the cost to list my home on the MLS?

A.For a flat fee  we will:
List your home in your local MLS.. 
Give you on-going professional assistance until your home closes.
Place your property on Realtor.com, the nation’s largest consumer real estate web site.  
List your home on thousands of other national and regional real estate web sites.
Provide you with all the Real Estate Commission Approved forms.
Answer all your real estate questions, and provide you with directions each step of the way through to closing.
 

Q. Are there any other costs? 

A. If you want to replace your entire set of pictures the fee is $75.00. We will replace up to 2 pictures free of charge.

We also have several optional services:
Virtual Tour on your listing and Realtor.com~starting at $179.00
Showing Service, one flat fee until your home sells~$100
Professional real estate yard sign and metal frame shipped to you~$100
Realtor.com showcase listing with up to 20 photos and expanded description~$99


Q. Can I continue to try and sell my home on my own?

A. Listing your home on the MLS is intended to supplement your marketing activities. You are encouraged to continue to try and sell your home on your own.

Q. If I sell my home on my own to a buyer who is not represented by a licensed real estate agent, do I have to pay a selling agent commission? 

A. No commission fees are due.

Q. Are there any other fees or expenses to the MLS listing program? 

A. There are no other fees.

Q. Why will real estate agents show my home? 

A. A real estate agent who shows and sells your home will be paid the normal/traditional real estate commission. Real estate agents almost exclusively rely on the MLS to locate homes that match their buyer’s needs. The MLS listing will show that the home is listed with us and that there is a buyer's agent real estate agent commission payable.


Q. How do I know my home is listed on the MLS?

A. After your home is listed on the MLS we will email you a copy of the MLS listing, showing all the information about your home. You should review the listing to insure it is accurate.

Q. How do I make a change to my MLS listing? 

A. You email your changes to AshevilleRealtor@earthlink.net
and the changes will be input into the MLS by within 24 hours M-Fri. 

Q. Will my home be on the Internet? 

A. Yes, your home will be listed on our web site, Realtor.com, Oodle, Yahoo Realty, Truilla and on many other regional and nation real estate web sites.. Realtor.com is the largest Internet real estate web site. It usually takes 24 hours for your home to be listed on Realtor.com. 


Q. Will there be a picture of my home on the MLS and on the Internet web sites? 

A. Yes, we will take a picture of your home to be posted with the MLS listing and on the Internet web sites. You can have up to 16 pictures of your home on the MLS.

Q. Can I terminate my agreement early? 

A. Yes, you can terminate the MLS listing at any time. 

Q. What if I decide I want to use a full service real estate agent? 

A. You can convert to a full service agent at any time. 

Q. Whose phone number is on the "for sale" sign?
A.
You should put your phone number on the sign so that non-realtor represented buyers can contact you directly.

Q. Are these the same MLS that other agents use, or is it different? 

A. This is the exact same MLS that the other agents use.

Q. Will my MLS listing look different than other real estate company MLS listings? 

A. No. It will look the same as all the other MLS listings
